3D Scanning

Preserving for Posterity

With laser scanners & structured light scanners, we capture millions of data points on the object's surface. These data points are then processed to create a digital 3D model that accurately represents the shape and details of the original artifact. 3D scanning allows for non-contact and non-destructive documentation of sculptures, enabling preservation, analysis, and virtual exploration of the artifacts. By virtually breaking down geographical and logistical barriers 3D Scanning fosters greater educational opportunities and cultural exchange.

3D Sculpting

Ancient Arts, New Tools

3D Sculpting involves the use of specialized software to sculpt and shape virtual models in three dimensions, mimicking the traditional process of sculpting by hand. This technology offers immense creative freedom, enabling enthusiasts to intricately design and manipulate digital sculptures with precision and detail. In the context of Hindu sculptures, 3D sculpting allows for the exploration and reinterpretation of ancient art forms, while also providing an opportunity to digitally restore and preserve fragile or damaged artifacts.

3D Printing

Revolutionising Manufacturing

3D printing is a revolutionary technology that involves the creation of physical objects by layering materials based on a digital design. It allows for the precise reproduction of intricate details of the  designs, ensuring that the essence of the original artwork is captured. This technology opens up new possibilities for artists and enthusiasts to create their own sculptures, customize existing designs, or even digitally restore damaged artifacts. Vedic Futura models are optimised to print on all SLA and FDM printers.
